The above was the composition at about 1990.  Today, the trans fats have been lowered in margarine!

Answer to a Question:  What is a Lipase?

Answer:  A Lipase is an enzyme (a protein) that carries out a reaction– in this case, it cleaves a fatty acid off a lipid molecule.  There happens to be many different Lipase enzymes in the body.
